Cornelio Borda's designs come to life through collaboration between Peru and Italy, with production based in Peru. The brand has a commitment to sustainability by repurposing waste materials and aligning with non-fast fashion principles.

The Alpaca Carpet line avoids animal fur, instead using Alpaca wool and Pima Cotton yarn sourced from surplus clothing production in Peru. Each carpet is handcrafted with precision and hand-brushed for a soft texture, perfect for shoes and bags. The embroidery technique was initially developed with artisans from Italy's Marche Region and has since expanded to skilled female artisans in Peru, who each dedicate a day to embroider two pairs of shoes.
